I'm posting from back in Calgary after a great week at Priest Lake. Everyone had loads of fun and we were sad that some had to return to home and school early. The Elkins Resort was fantastic with very comfortable (albeit a bit close for us in a smaller cabin) accomodations. Beautiful lake to play in. Having a ski boat was super and the kids had tons or fun on the water. Matthew managed to slalom ski for his first time. Lake cruising was fun and our trip up to Upper Priest Lake was very beautiful. Great meals, especially the big dinner at the main restaurant. The pub was fun with kids karaoke until 10:00 pm and adults thereafter. Lots of laughs. The drive home was long and hot - 695 km and 8 hours door to door. Everyone got home safe and sound with much enthusiasm to do it again next year.
