The Golden Bear

A bit groggy from the boxed wine saw myself slowly getting mobile.  Another light b’fast and we made our way to the nearby Golden Bear Golf Course.  Truly spectacular day for golfing, but we did get behind a large group of fellows having a grand old time which slowed the back nine considerably.  We made note of Dexter, Eduardo, Frank, George, Harry, Ivan, Jim Ken and Leroy having statures large and small.  While I started out with a few very satisfying holes, my game faltered and I wound up dead last in our foursome.  Jane did count a birdie so Karen was pleased to provide some birdie juice.  After golf and a quick change, we made our way to the Fish Camp for some chicken fried Frogs Legs and Gator Bites, along with Ahi Nachos and some Hush Puppies. It was a bit cool with a steady breeze off the bay as we sat at the bar for happy hour. Not satiated, we headed over to the Old Oyster Factory for a lovely sunset viewed from the deck over Broad Creek, and of course, Oysters on the half shell.  Back at the condo quite early in the evening (possibly late in the afternoon?) a quiet time preceded ETB.
