The no plan plan in full effect after successfully celebrating Karen's milestone. After a full scottish breakfast (sans blood pudding) we stared at each other on the Lanai, but wait - what are those boats congregating around out in Maalaea Bay? A small pod of humpback whale were circling and we were able to view through the spotting scope some tail flukes in the distance. We got organized for a beach day and walked down a way to the south of our condo. Found a suitable spot to set up and grab some rays. This was short lived though as the wind picked up and the exfoliation was not as pleasant as being at a spa, so after a very short stint, we returned to Lanai for relaxation and reading. All that was left to do was attend our reservation at the Monsoon India restaurant for a great feast of butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, dal makhani, basmati rice and some naan bread. Not much else to report today as we were not overly ambitious as a group. I must be getting old (very).
