The rest of the day was spent exploring the resort a little bit. Short siesta and went to the Marlin Restaurant for the Thai Market buffet. Good food and a culture show to boot! Everyone was worn out from our travel day with bouts of
เหนื่อย, หิว และ กระหาย at various intervals (including a bit of nastiness at the Bangkok airport - sorry Matthew) so we just went to bed. Up this morning and further exploration. Hope to walk over Loh Lana Bay this afternoon. It is Matthew's 18th birthday today, so we're hoping to find something to do that is especially memorable. Pool and beach areas are beautiful, running out of superlatives to describe the places we've been. Beach bungalows are more than comfortable, unfortunately though the air conditioner blows right down on the bed at gale force. Might have to endure some sweaty sleeps, hardly worth complaining about, but not too much to say so far here at Phi Phi island. Hope we can take a Long Tail boat ride to Phi Phi Leh tomorrow for some snorkelling (weather permitting).
