Back at the Kempinski, went for a quick dip in the ocean and pool, then relaxed at the beach. After a too short siesta, we went to eat at the beach grill. After relaxing in the sun all day, everyone was worn out so it was early to bed. Posting on our little patio which is in a lovely secluded spot surrounded by tropical forrest.

Baie Lazare
We enjoyed a full day of lounging around the hotel beach area. There is some interest in exploring these islands, so I thought we could hop on a public transit bus near the resort gates to get to Victoria and then take a ferry over to Praslin and visit Anse Lazio beach (famous for shark attacks). Matthew and I walked to the Kempinski gate and then into the small village at the crossroad. It took about 30 minutes with steep hills on a humid and hot day. Found out the bus to town takes over an hour, and that there are few ferries to Praslin daily, so this might be a non starter. We also walked over to the Four Seasons Resort. Again, the walk was long and sweaty, so the thought of walking there for dinner is likely out. Will investigate other options for exploration. The Four Seasons is huge, with mountain side chalets over a vast area for a resort, connected by what appeared to be a fenicular system. What a place!
