Lisbon

After a BDD at the pool, gathered the boys and headed out to find a suitable restaurant (Marisqueira o Rodinhas).  We circled the place for a while and finally settled into what appeared to me to be a straight forward line up to await a table.  After 45 minutes it appeared that the host was coming out to the line and calling out names. I went after him and asked if we needed to put our name on a list, he said they take reservations only.  Oops. He said he'd get in as soon as he could.  The wait was worth it and we had another great fish dinner complete with the famous Portugal appetizer plate of shell fish etc.

This morning simply packed up and checked out of Sana Sesimbra, memorable beach front hotel, great place from which to launch.  Drove back to Lisbon in sometimes heavy rain.  No problem finding Hotel Mundial with Myles navigation skills (leaning heavily on the iOS (Soooo superior to Windows)  Mundial is a bit sketchy, but ideally located.  Had to wait to check in, so parked the car and left our bags with the bell man.  Walked up the Central Park promenade looking for somewhere to get lunch (Myles: I don't care where we eat as long as it is at the Ritz).  After lunch, got checked in and settled then walked up the escandieri to the São Jorge Castello. Wandered around there for a couple of hours enjoying the historical significance and features up high over Lisboa.  Grabbed a cab back down to save on knee strain.
Went to the A Ginjinha for a Ginjinha, which "that guy"[Anthony Bourdain] told us we should do.  After that walked down to the water front and had a beer.  Walked back past the Elevador de Santa Justa and climbed up the stairs in search of another fantastic meal. After more "it's just another block"s than I could count, we found Sul.  Matthew scored the best dish with "Stone Rump", believe it or not.  Cabbed back to Mundial and now having a nightcap at the rooftop bar.
