Last two game drives

The morning game drive included some more wild life sightings, including some elephants moving through the brush.  John positioned the vehicle so that they would pass around us.  There were quite a few of all ages including some very younguns.  A large male bringing up the rear went right behind us and decided to check if we were threatening.  Gave us a good show of his flared ears and large tusks with a grunt.  Unfortunately we didn't get a good photo of that in particular, but this shot shows how big and how close he was.
Had a coffee break to stretch and look around a bit.  More giraffes and lions, including this male strolling down the road unperturbed by us.  We watched him come up and pass right by, then continue on.  Drove past him once more and watched the process all over again.
He could not have held us in more disdain. We saw a genete too and other smaller stuff.  Mid day spent sun tanning and lounging at the pool.  The evening game drive was an excercise in hunting for Leopard.  Didn't find one, but John put in a considerable effort to.  Including getting bogged down in a dry sandy riverbed.  Required a push to get going again, all part of the package.
We kept searching past dark.  I have to say that the night driving with a spot light didn't do much for me. Back at the lodge, had dinner one last time with our jeep mates and John.  After the boys retired, we had a nice chat with the two ozzy's and the musicians from Toronto.

We will skip our last morning game drive in favour of sleeping in and getting ready for our two flights leading to Cape Town where we are spending most of the next week.
